Sacrifice: The Altar of Obedience

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Blood Transfusions.

In the United States, it is estimated that thousands of Jehovah’s Witness’ adults and children die for refusing blood transfusions on an annual basis. At this writing, the Watchtower occupies 233 countries where thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses refuse blood transfusions; and yes, countless continue to die.

Because the Watchtower is believed to speak for Jehovah God, the Jehovah’s Witnesses render full obedience to Watchtower teaching. To reject the “council” of the Watchtower is to reject the “council” of Jehovah God Himself. This is the authority that drives the Jehovah’s Witnesses to unquestioned obedience to the Watchtower organization – even to the point of death.

Similar to other Bible-based religious cults, the Watchtower Bible and Tracy Society had prophesied the end of the world for the year 1975. During that time, the Jehovah's Witnesses were actually encouraged to sell their homes and property in preparation for "the end." While many Witnesses were busy selling their homes and property, the Watchtower Society was purchasing property in Brooklyn, New York the same year the world was supposed to end. These book detail the stories of fictitious characters set in a historic setting documented by the Watchtower Society's own literature. When the end failed to materialize, the Watchtower Society never assumed responsibility for the failed prophecy. Instead, the leadership blamed their own followers. The reader will experience first hand what the Witnesses experienced during that time.

There are two issues which confront those who have a heart to share the gospel with the Jehovah's Witnesses: 1) Not knowing what drives their commitment; and 2) Frustration. In this book, you will learn why the Witnesses are so committed to their beliefs. You will also learn from the personal experiences of an ex-Jehovah's Witnesses how the Witnesses think, why they depend upon the Watchtower, and why leaving the Watchtower organization can be quite a painful emotional and spiritual ordeal.

The Watchtower Society teaches that they are members of the 144,000 who will be the only ones going to heaven. Membership in this group began with the early apostles. Over the centuries others have been added but the Watchtower declared that the number was completed in 1935. Anyone who claims to be one of Jehovah’s’ Witnesses has to be one of the 144,000 and must be very old now. However, the Watchtower Society teaches that these are the only ones who hear from God and are responsible for Watchtower teaching and leadership.

Because these people are dying, the Watchtower was facing a credibility crisis. So, the Watchtower was quietly manipulating these death figures to keep the Watchtower organization alive! The Watchtower organization quietly began to try to wiggle out of the 1935 closing date for the 144,000. But this only adds further opportunity for you to show the “JW” who comes to your door that he cannot trust the Watchtower with his precious eternal life.

With God All Things Are Possible

Those trapped in cults are all around us – such as: family members, friends, co-workers and acquaintances. Cult members are all around us. While not all cults pose a physical threat to society, many have quietly destroyed untold numbers of families and personal relationships by re-shaping lives with subversive mind control. The purpose of mind control is to undermine and destroy a person’s will, behavior and thoughts and replace their identity with cult ideology.

By re-shaping their victim’s way of thinking, cults can mold them into anything of their choice. This book will expose the mechanisms that cult organizations use to transform people’s lives into their image.
